Rough bluegrass

Poa trivialis

Short, Cool season, perennial stoloniferous sod-former. Primarily used as a turfgrass for winter overseeding on putting greens and dormant Bermudagrass (Cynodon dactylon) lawns in the south. Tolerates wet, Cool soils and shady areas. Can be cut closely soon after germination so golf courses are minimally interrupted.
