Little bluestem is a warm-season, bunch-type, perennial native grass found throughout much of the United States. This intermediate stature native grass is an important specie for many uses, applications and ecosystems. Several improved cultivars offer varying degrees of adaptability, palatability, heat and drought tolerance and forage quality.
