Lemon Mint

Lemon Mint is found distributed across the southern half of the United States growing in upland prairie and grasslands. Often called Beebalm, it is a member of the mint family has beautiful purple flowers that bloom from May-July.

Prefers to grow in dry, well-drained soils that may be rocky and sandy
Thrives in full sun to partial shade
Highly utilized by pollinators and humming birds who are attracted to its fragrant flowers
An easy annual species to grow, it will reseed itself and can form large colonies if allowed
