CDC Horizon is a forage pea variety with high biomass yield, powdery mildew resistance, good lodging resistance, and is a semi-leafless leaf type. CDC Horizon Forage Peas produce on average 4-5 Tons/Acre Dry Matter which is similar to forage barley, but with greater protein concentration. Less lodging than the 40-10 Forage Pea means easier cutting and less left in the field. CDC Horizon Forage Peas will also produce Nitrogen, helping your soil and your next crop.
