Euthamia graminifolia

Grass-leaved goldenrod gets its named from its narrow, grass like alternate leaves. A perennial growing from 3-6 feet in height, it blooms from July-September with bright yellow flowers. It can be found from New Brunswick to Saskatchewan, Alberta, Florida, Nebraska, and Wyoming. Inhabiting moist, open ground it spreads via seed and rhizomes and can form dense colonies if allowed to. This species is highly utilized by many different species of pollinators and can be an important plant in pollinator restoration. It is a long lived native that can survive for many years.
