The Aquamarine Westside Solar project covers approximately 1,260 acres of land in Stratford, California, making it one of the larger renewable energy developments in the region. The site was prepared and seeded in 2021 by CMG Hydroseeding, a company specializing in large-scale vegetation establishment for ecological and construction projects. To support both erosion control and habitat function, the seeding effort utilized a carefully selected blend of native and non-native plant species. This custom mix was developed by Pacific Coast Seed, a Northern California supplier known for creating seed blends tailored to specific site conditions and project goals. By incorporating this mix, the project aimed to balance soil stabilization, biodiversity, and long-term sustainability within the solar installation footprint.
