Mountain lupine

Lupinus argenteus ssp. rubricaulis

Also known as Lupinus alpestris. Low to moderate water requirement; sun to shade. Perennial with blue-lavender flowers, blooms June to October from foothills to subalpine, in clearings, under trees, and on exposed moist ridges at high elevations.
